:) I am scheduled to have my revision surgery May 7th with Dr Toby Meltzer in Phoenix. After robbing my 401k, I was even able to pay for it up front.
It's been such a long and painful journey. I have to keep myself open by dilating twice a day. For those not familiar with my story, I had my SRS last year and it turned into a terrible disaster. I progressively got smaller and smaller to the point that I eventually needed an application of Lidocane 5 inserted with a 1/4" lube inserter.
I have to insert my first application with a q-tip and let it numb for an hour before I can get the lube inserter in place. And even with this, I endure pain so great that it's all I can do to keep from screaming. Long bouts of pain driven tears and crying are the norm.
But alas, May 7th is just around the corner and I pray that this kind of painful exercise will never be needed again. Not to sound like a cry baby but it literally feels like a salted knife being introduced into an open wound.
Finally, I'm writing a memoir and I haven't decided if I will include this part of my journey yet.
Just thought I would keep my friends here updated.

I wish you all the best and normal healing.
Keep us updated on how they fixed things and how it is all going after. Your story is one we never wish to see but it does seem to happen.
Hugs
