Title: High side of Potassium and T increasing a bit, questions

I just got my blood test results back. I have 2 questions. My potassium is on the high side but just in range and my T went from <20 last time to 25 ng/dl.
I am adding salted peanuts to counter the potassium and cottage cheese for protein. My PA wanted me to add protein because I eat little meat (1 or 2 times a month meat balls). Is this correct, add salt to lower potassium?
My T went up from undetectable to 25 ng/dl. Both tests were taken at the same time 6 months apart. I know 25 is not bad but I do not like the direction. I had my E increased 50% this visit :) :) . Is the direction of the T increase any concern and will the increased E help to eliminate the T? Am I concerned about nothing?
The PA said the labs looked great.

If you are taking Spiro, it is not surprising that your potassium is on the high side as Spiro increases potassium retention. Spiro also increases sodium excretion so that you may start craving salt to replace the increased loss of sodium in your body. Eat more salt, when you crave it. Drink as much spring water as you want, avoiding drinks that contain a lot of potassium.
I wouldn't be concerned about your T having increased, it's still quite low and besides. Spiro also blocks some of the T, the test does not take that into account. ;) If you are taking estradiol orally, SHBG is also raised so that a significant part of the T that was tested is bound to SHBG and cannot act on tissues. :)
Increasing E will further reduce T by reducing testicular production of T and opposing its effects in tissues. So, no worries there. Most importantly, focus on results. If you feel good and you are feminizing well, then that's what really matters in the end, isn't it? Nice numbers and all don't guarantee anything...you want actual physical and psychological results! If these are good, then you're good. :)

Thank you.
I am on Spiro, oral estradiol and finasteride.
I feel absolutely the best in my life. Physically my breasts are growing well, head hair regrowth is good (the PA said significant), soft skin, muscle reduction, stomach is getting flat :) and I feel more aligned ( less dysphoria).
More salt, cottage cheese and pea nuts sounds like fun.
Thanks, I will read up on SHBG.

Good! Glad to hear. :)
Eat as much salt as you crave, don't try and contain your cravings, they are there for a reason and your case is special since you're on Spiro. Ignore salt warnings as you are on a diuretic.
Avoid mineral water, fruit juices, salt SUBSTITUTES that contain a lot of potassium, sodas, energy/sports drinks. Fruits and veggies are fine. Moderate your intake of caffeinated beverages as they add to the diuretic effect.
