Susan's Place Transgender Resources

FHi lady's   I call myself Samantha   I'm from the north east boston area. My therapist suggested I look into Susan's place. I'm glad I did  I'm mtf it's a very long story and took me way to many years to understand but here I am hopefully on my last journey I believe it will be the hardest but nothing good in life is easy.  So they say.  ( when I meet the person named they boy do I have some things to say to him )  anyway I'm just getting started. I'm married to a wonderful woman   She is very aware of me  not that she understands  but I believe she's trying her hardest. I love her a lot !!! I have also told my mother , a lesbian woman I met at a bar   I think I had a few to many that day.   After outing my self my anxiety went crazy but after a week or so it calmed down.   Not sure when I will tell any other family  working on it    Great to read all the posts   Hope everyone is having a great day

A big warm welcome to the family Samantha! It will not take you too long to believe that as we have a great bunch of caring compassionate people who want to see you succeed in life. All of the information you get here is invaluable because it comes from REAL people at all stages of transition from those questioning to Post Op. You will learn what works, or doesn't with a lot of great tips and suggestions in between. Be sure to direct your spouse to our Significant Others topics. It may help her understand us a little better and find she is not alone either. Feel free to rant, vent, share good news (we like that a LOT), learn or just have some fun and meet the rest of the family. Our staff does an excellent job at keeping peace in the family and danger out, so relax, you are among family now. Hi Samantha, nice to meet another newbie like me. I will say the ranks keep filling in, which definitely helps me feel like I am not on a lonely island at least on this side of the keyboard. Tons of info her Samantha, and a super group of supportive folks that by just reading recent posts has been great for me. I am sure you will find the same.
