Ok first off I should not be posting my ugly mug on this site....and secondly I don't know if I really want to know what the consensus will be??? But, I can't hate myself anymore LOL

I'm only am asking this since I had a similar post about aging and it got me thinking....

It would be very nice if anyone else cares to take the challenge!!      Come on!!!!

Seriously, please don't let your age get you down.  I'm horrible at guessing ages, but you don't look old AT ALL.  And you are certainly not an ugly woman, actually I think you're pretty.  I think a lot of us have such poor self esteem and have faced years of battling dysphoria that sometimes it's challenging to see our own beauty.  If you can't see it yourself, I can definitely understand that, but know that you ARE NOT ugly in the eyes of other people.

I'm guessing from 35-40ish. Your hydration ain't good so I can't really tell (all the bad things in life, huh?). You ain't a bad looker though, hon. Don't worry about age too much.

The suspense is getting to me!*giggle* ;D

I will admit that I have come to realize I am as at least an average looking female....this alone has been a huge advancement in how I feel about myself. Although I do still walk around being jealous of so many more beautiful women. I will say, at least I am in fairly good shape....but I do work for this!!

To everyone else...Thank you as well!! I was not expecting the ages guessed...but I also realize its proper to exaggerate when guessing someone's age!   ;)

But anywho!! I will only say I am older than 43 but younger than 50!!

WOW!! Some of the things said make me feel really good! I know its just a number but because the last 8 years of my life have been very lonely and I have seemed to miss so much in the prime of my life...I just seem to feel so much older!

Now if I could just have some thicker hair and ward off the greys I will be ok!

Yeah you look much younger than you are.  Congrats!  I am sorry you faced 8 years of loneliness, I know how that feels cause i'm right there with ya...

This makes me want to see what age peeps put me at too, but if people got it wrong i would be very sad, so maybe I better not :)

My first guess Shelly was about 37 or 38. But then after seeing my mug in the mirror I got to thinking "no way she's as old as I am, gotta be at least a couple years younger... 35, 36 tops."  :laugh:

You do look quite beautiful to my tastes. This said, I would guess a number between 41 and 43.

I say 36 without make-up and 30 if you did have foundation make-up on. :)

the mug is far from ugly.

My daughter is 35 and you do look older than her, but you look younger than her 35 year old friends.

I know how old you are, so no need to guess. But you are attractive and exceedingly passable.

Shelly, I looked at your eyes & thought about when around do little wrinkles start to show and thought around 37 to 42 (could be any time though I suppose), so you look younger than your real age. You are rocking a nice figure & looking very Beautiful! Drop ugly from your vocabulary. You will mature very lovely through the years. I can't transition & I am 72, I love my life & living. I think of aging as just a number. You love yours hun, have a positive attitude & live long.

Honestly, you look in your late thirties about 37-38, but, I know you wouldn't make a post like this unless you were approaching a significant number. So for my guess I'll go with 49, but only because I'm an analytical person (it hurts me sometimes too, lol!).

I was gonna guess about 43, but I am a pretty good judge of age.
However my guess was a fail anyways cause you're older than that! :D

35. OK, maybe 40 if you're one of those women estrogen makes look five years younger.

Look??  I was thinking 35-37.  As you are on HRT, I add 10 for aguess at the real age.  And, you are 10 years younger than I.
