Title: More fat more fem?

I'm about to start hrt soon and I'm pretty thin
5'8" 110lb I was wondering if gaining weight would make my face more feminine
And if so.. Would it matter whether I gained the weight before hrt or after at all
Thanks so much

I'm not an expert, but logic tells me that letting the HRT do some adjusting to where you will gain fat before gaining the fat makes the most sense. Of course the body doesn't always seem to work logically, so don't sue me if I'm wrong.

I'm guessing that once HRT starts, gaining weight will come pretty naturally. Ever since I started progesterone, I can just look at food and gain weight.

I don't usually comment on presentation, but you're asking.
I think your face is very feminine. I'd suggest bangs to deemphasize your forehead and eyebrow ridge. Also, getting your eyebrows done has amazing effects.
Gaining weight sounds like it would have negative consequences and an uncertain payoff.

Id say you should eat as healthy as you can. Hrt does round out the face though. Like my cheeks are a lot fuller and such. I've been steadily gaining weight since I started hrt but I've welcomed the gains. Since the extra weight has filled me out in the right areas.

My face has gone from a chubby/fat male face to oval shaped and femme. I have been working to lose weight so that I would gain it back in female places and that seems to be working pretty well.
I would say to listen to your body and eat only when you are hungry, and eat only as much as you need - no plate cleaning. Also, eat healthy stuff and avoid fast food and junk food and you should do just fine.
I am also 5'8" and I weigh about 161 lbs; 110 sounds a bit on the thin side to me. If you want feminine curves you might have to eat more.

Your face is femme as it is but will develope into even more femme while on HRT.
Gaining weight during HRT will create fem fat 'deposits' on your face and body.

I'm 5'8" and pre transition, I was around 135lbs. Now, I'm hovering around the same weight, but have B/C cup boobs, so the fat had to come from somewhere. In fact I was recently told by a plastic surgeon, I don't have enough fat on me to transfer to my hips for augmentation. :-\
