Okaay soo i have a real quick problem.
The last few days I've been, i dunno, scattered i guess and i guess I've missed some doses. The day before yesterday I forgot to take my nighttime dose, so the next morning I just took both.
Then this morning I get up and realize I just fell asleep last night and totally forgot to take it. But here's whats confusing me..the Monday and Tuesday both had pills in them on TWO packets, so I must have forgotten two other doses somewhere. I could have sworn it was just the original two. I know beyond a doubt I took yesterday's afternoon/evening dose, but I absolutely forgot my nighttime dose.
So basically I just doubled up again this morning. And cuz it's 6 hours before my normal morning dose, im going to count it as last nights. Then I'm going to take the rest as usual.
Will all this cause any problems?

When I can't remember if I took a dose I skip. I then get upset with myself for not paying closer attention (days blend together + stress, so I forgive myself pretty easily) but I do worry about some form of overdose with this stuff.

I forget quite frequently as well, I just take them when I remember unless it's only an hour or so till my next one, I don't think doubling up or missing one here and there would make any difference in the long run.

Have you ever tried one of those daily pill separators? That might help if you are forgetting every now and then.
I don't think it's a big deal to miss it every now and then, but it could add up after some time. Just try to avoid doing it again. As for double dosing, I've done that when I missed a dose, but I split my full dose three times a day so our dosages could be very different. I know that taking all three would be a bad thing to do because it's too much at once. Two of them, however, wasn't a big deal for me, but again, I don't know if we have similar doses. I was told when I was on two that I should split them because you get more of an overall effect that way. In any event, just my own experience, and I am not a doctor, so take everything I say with a huge grain of salt.
What's done is done. I wouldn't worry too much about it, but I would try to avoid it in the future.

I have one but it doesn't work so much when you get wasted and pass out with your makeup still on :o
Its basically just been the last few days I've had a few slip ups, its all just kind of blurred together, but I'm going to try and smooth it out the next few days. And yeah I split it into 3 morning/afternoon-evening/nighttime doses, I guesss I missed all but the afternoon yesterday, tho I reaally thought I took the morning one, but it was still there. I dunno, the last few days (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday) were all f'd up hormones wise

If I miss a dose, I will usually just skip to the next one..
And an interesting fact..
When I started hormones, I was told to take all my pills at once, once a day.. And after 3 months my hormones were at a level both I and my gyno found acceptable. After doing some reading, I started to split my doses to a morning and night dose, thinking that might increase my levels.. Another blood test 3 months later showed levels much the same as taking them all once a day.. I went back to taking them all once a day, makes me less likely to forget them..

Cisgender people's hormones naturally fluctuate, so it probably wouldn't do you much more harm than just being cisgender.

Everyone's hormones fluctuate naturally. The usual advice for any medication is to not double the dose to make up for a skipped one. Either it won't do anything (besides "waste" a dose) or it provoke a side effect.
