Hi everyone.
I am new to this site but from little I have seen and some of the various post i have read, this site actually cares. My name is Melody Yvonne (the name i was given by my mother before she knew i was going to be a boy! She really wanted a girl.) when i was little, my aunt made a dress for my cousin but didnt have her to measure, since her and i were pretty much the same my mother let my aunt put the dress on me to see if it would fit my cousin. It did. Fast forward to age 9. One day i asked my grandmother ih i could wear one
of her full slips and she said yes and i wore it for a couple of hours. The next day, i asked her the same question again and she said ok! I remember how good it felt on me and didnt want to take it off. Told my grandmother that I wished I had been born a girl! She just smiled. Hence from that day i loved wearing slips. As I grew older, my love and desire for womens clothing also grew. I started wearing not only slips under my jeans, but skirts as well. At 16, I aquired a ankle length, yellow, satin nite gown. I loved it and wore it to bed
several times, taking it off before school and tossing it into my closet. Years later, through
out college yrs and 20yrs in the army, I still would wear skirts and slips for a time. Even
though I am married now with grown children, I still wear womens clothing. But because
my wife is a negative 110 % in the areas of approval and support, i have been reduced to underdressing. My wife knows that I have dressed in the past but dosent know I still am doing so today and I dont want her to know. She is sweet but dosent believe men should wear womens clothes in anyway, to do so is perverted (her words to me). She does not approve of me looking at any transgender sites and gets mad if I do. So melody can only come out fully when wifes away for a day or more which is rare, so till one of those das come around I am confined to underdressing at work as I dont dare even undredress at home. Melody Yvonne and I are one and the same, its just we cant be ourselves at home. Thanks to all of you for listening.

The information you get here is from real life people at all stages of transition, from still questioning to post op and everything in between. Feel free to rant, vent, share good news (we like that a LOT), learn or just have some fun and meet the rest of the family. After 15 posting's you can use the Personal Message feature to contact anyone here directly for specific questions or just talk and meet someone new who shares your interest's. Here is a BIG HUG :icon_hug: to welcome you and make you feel right at home, because you are! :)
