Hi Ciaoblue  :icon_wave:

Welcome to Susan's  :)  Glad to have you here, but the posting of dosages are not permitted per site rules

Quote8. The discussion of hormone replacement therapy(HRT) and it's medications are permitted, with the following limitations:
A. You may not advocate for or against a specific medication or combinations of medication for personal gain. This is strictly prohibited.
B. You may not discuss the means to acquire HRT medications without a prescription. The discussion of self medication without a doctors supervision is prohibited.
C. The discussion of recommended or actual dosages is strongly discouraged to prevent information obtained on this site from being used to self medicate.
We can not in good conscience condone the self administering of these medications. Not only may self medication be illegal, but HRT medications can cause serious health problems, and many have the potential for life-threatening side effects that can only be detected and prevented with proper medical supervision.

I think I'm within the rules to say that taking two meds with similar intentions sounds like a bad idea.  You could ask your doctor - I think that's what they would say.

It took me more than a few months to lose all erectile activity.  It did come, just takes time.

It is fairly common to take a T blocker and a DHT blocker at the same time; For example Sipro and Dutasteride or Finasteride but, I haven't seen a doctor recommend two medications that treat the same thing at the same time.

Androcur should be more than enough on it's own for shutting down T production, I would give it some time. It is generally considered a reasonably powerful antiandrogen.

We are not doctors and do not give out that kind of medical advice.  It sounds like you might be self medicating which is not a good idea.

You need to see a doctor and get some blood work done to see what the problem is.

I know the Thai system intimately. The straight answer is no. Don't do this.

Androcur should, on its own, sufficiently inhibit androgen such that Spiro would not be required. It should be taken daily, not once every 2 days.

I have, however, come across some women who took both at the same time. The only advantage I could see from combining both would be to not have to take as high dosages of either alone such that a low dose of one can be combined with a low dose of the other (thus minimizing side-effects from either medication) and the other advantage would be that Androcur tends to increase water retention while Spiro decreases it (they neutralize each other, to a certain degree).

As always, consult your doctor before, take necessary precautions with both, be well-informed of their side-effects. Also, avoid birth control pills as they increase risks of thrombosis (DVT, pulmonary embolism). Progynova is safer. Stick with that. :)
