Title: How much will a bandana help someone pass?

Since I am 41 years old and have serious balding going on, I wonder how much a bandana will aid in passing? What about wearing a bandana over a wig? One rather famous transwoman on youtube does that.
Anybody here trued the bandana and incidents where balding was revealed accidentally?
