Title: 1 year 4 months on T... little facial hair :(

Anyone else over a year on T with barely any facial hair? All I have is a pathetic mustache and sparse hairs for sideburns...also, just one spot under my chin on my neck with a thin patch. Everyone I know on T has a beard by this time...and thick heavy sideburns by the end of the first year. Something wrong with me? Everyone in my family is very hairy and have very thick beards.

Three months over a year on T and I only got somewhat of a pedo 'stache going on along with loads of fuzz, but nothing I would call actual facial hair.
My doctor responsible for my HRT said it's very common it takes 2-3 years on T for facial hair to start really growing.

No, nothing's wrong with you. Puberty in cis males takes years, 5 or more.

This was me at a little over 1 year on testosterone...and this was only visible when using the flash (so very specific lighting).

I've just hit two years (today, actually) and I have little facial hair. It can take five+ years for natal males to grow anything more patchy scraggly hair. Though, I'm also a blonde and I have A LOT of light hair. It's not the same texture though. Thicker than peach fuzz but softer than near hair. I figure it'll just take time.

I'm over 2 years on T with very little facial hair at all. Before I had my hysterectomy last year (over a year on T) I had almost zero facial hair and after I had all stuff removed I got some growth but not a notable amount. Maybe get your levels checked and talk to a doctor about your concerns?
Remember genetics can also play a roll in things like facial hair. Having a good amount of Native American ancestors I didn't expect much in the way of facial hair. And the other side is Austrian and some family lines don't have much in the way of facial hair either. My family is pretty hit and miss on the facial hair, looking at my brothers and cousins from both sides (same approximate genetic dilution) I had a fair guess that if I had any facial hair it probably would be patchy hah. Both grandpas and all my uncles are fairly hairy but my cousins....some are and some aren't. Oh well my facial structure has sharpened quite a bit on hormones (began getting real noticeable after the 2 year mark) and I lost all the "baby face" fat once I began religiously running, and those things combined seem to be the key to getting people to gender me correctly.
Hah Ayden you think blonde is bad? What facial hair I have isn't just one color. I have blonde, red, brown and black facial hair. So what hair I do have looks even thinner on my left side since the majority of that hair is blonde. My sister says I'm calico...

I can't speak personally, but someone I know has been on testosterone for over two years, and his facial hair is just starting to really appear. So don't worry, takes time for everyone :)

See my ticker. I have pathetic facial hair, but at least it's finally visible from a distance and on grainy webcam shots! It's slow going, but it's going, so I'm not worrying about it. And I ain't shaving either, even though it's not impressive...

A calico... That's awesome. According to the husband (who is in a much better place to judge since he kisses me) I have quite a bit of rough hair even if it doesn't look like a beard. We are both eager to see what it looks like when I no longer have to shave every other day. It sucks that even what little hair I can see is a no no. My job has a strict no facial hair policy.

2 years and 2 months here with not very much other than a neckbeard and mustache. Some guys just have their grow in more slowly than others - it's more to do with genetics IMHO. I agree with the thoughts about the 3-5 year mark being a better indicator of where you will be with beard growth.
