Title: Transdermal issues.
Post by: veritasinchains on March 26, 2014, 06:41:08 PM
I have almost a full month before my next endo but I have decided to go either pill or injection. I think injection will be my way because it seems to be a safer option to pills. I would stick to patch but my skin doesn't seem to like it... :(

You might ask about the pellet method as well. I am asking mine next month to consider it for me. They get implanted and you forget them. No missed doses or injections every two weeks and it keeps levels from differing wildly. Worth checking out. :)

Be warned though, my doctor told me that pellet would likely require an additional referral to a gynecologist to have them implant it, and may not be covered by insurance. Discuss it with your endo, if they can do it and at what price.
