Hi. So I see a lot of men have already asked this question, but I want to try again & perhaps word it differently.. & offer my advice on my experience with stp. I have been using the men's room only for 10 years now.
My question.... What is the best STP for someone like me?
I want to be able to unzip my fly and pull it out and use a urinal. I want the least chance of spillage possible. I don't want to have to undo my belt and unbutton my pants. I have tried 2 different devices and I will explain why neither has worked out. But I have not tried the "nipple" kind or the big cup like opening kind... like the model d stp- which looks promising - except for the harness.. I do not know about having not having around the waist. Has anyone tried it? How does the harness work for you? Is the device just too much to walk around with? I can't find any real reviews on it.
Anyways- ANY & all input that can be given about what you may like for STP would be appreciated. I do not want advice on the spoon kind. I am super happy it works for so many guys, it just does not for me. The spillage is my main issue. SO I am looking for advice on devices with a wider opening for catching the stream. I would rather be uncomfortable than spill. Any advice?
I have used a STP with a packy with the tube (like a medicine spoon type opening) & for me personally it is the most uncomfortable thing to have rubbing up against your junk all day. It also flops around in your underwear w/o a harness and I wear boxer briefs and it will just fall out without a harness. There is way too much fumbling around with this device. And the spill factor is the biggest problem. In my experience, I would recommend against this, but hey everyone is different.
I have used a plastic tube that I bought from a site selling devices for females to pee standing up in the woods and that is what I had much more success with. The drawback is you have to keep it in your pocket. I bought a pouch for it bc cleaning it at the sink in pubic was not an option that I wanted to entertain. It was very easy for me to walk up to a urinal, unzip my fly, pull out my packy while discretely taking the tube out of my pants to put underneath. I used that device for a long while, but then there was one incident where it was not lined up perfectly & by the time I noticed... the damage had been done. I have never even attempted to use it since. Since out in public I wait until I am about to bust before peeing, my stream is strong. And most of it went through the tube which is why it took a couple of seconds to notice (it only takes that long to make a mess). If you're not lined up PERFECTLY- its spill time.
I know no device is perfect yet.. but any suggestions on different stream opening stp devices would be greatly appreciated!!! Again the medicine spoon type stream opening traumatized me too much and I want more security.. although this seems to be the most common method used.

Sounds like the peecock might be more up your street, but that's expensive for something you're not sure will work. I have no idea what your budget is either.

Thanks, that is one I have not come across. Money is not a big factor when I am looking for something I will use everyday. Do you or anyone you know have any experience with the peecock? My concern is exactly what you stated, it is a lot of money for something if it does not end up performing its intended function & obviously I can't return it.

The 2nd Gen peecock works well for me about 98% of the time. Some say it works some say they don't as it leaks out of the back. Some say the 6" works better, but i only have the 3/4". Used it at urinals with no problems. Again it all about how you wear, hold it.
