Title: Introduction

Hello.. I've browsed these forums a while, trying to find information, but I have decided finally to create an account. I am an early 20's Feminine M, but for practical purposes, I suppose one could call me an MTF. I call myself a male, since that is my biological gender, and can't really change it, but I would like to go all the way; I.E. hormones, etc. to become as feminine as possible. I don't consider it crossdressing or transvesticism (made up words?), since I consider all people to be just that: people; so they should be able to wear what they want/express themselves however they want... If that makes any sense? I know, it's a bit confusing... I'm not sure how to articulate properly what I mean 100% accurately... Maybe I'm actually a true MTF but don't realize it right now? Who knows? Anyway, I'm in a position right now where I can't really do much of anything. I'm already out to my family (married too) and a close friend, but since I'm stuck as I am for now, everyone pretty much pretends like it's all gone away or I've forgotten about it (like its a phase or something).
So, I'm mostly here for pointers on what I can do to prepare for when the time comes where I may pursue my goals, such as taking care of my skin/feminizing my voice, etc. So, yeah, that's me. Thanks everyone. It's a pleasure to be a part of this group.

Hello Panix, welcome to Susan's Place. It can take awhile to figure out what you want to call yourself, use whatever term feels best or use more than one. :D I hope you find the love and support you need here, and learn more about yourself.

A big warm welcome to the family Panix! I hope you enjoy your time with us and feel at home and relaxed. All of the information you get here is provided by REAL people actually going through transition from still questioning to Post Op and every step in between. Feel free to rant, vent, share good news (we like this a LOT), learn or just have some distracting fun and meet the rest of the family. Here is a BIG HUG :icon_hug: to welcome you and make you feel right at home! :)

Hi Panix,
Welcome! This is a great place to come for information, inspiration, and fellowship. Most all who come here have more questions than we are even aware of, many of the answers can be found on this site. When I first began lurking here, I was too scared and to confused to even introduce myself. That went on for most of a year, but the women here are so compelling, that even someone as old as I felt welcome. Good luck, I truly hope the best for you, and know that you have made the extremely tougth first step to living authentically.
Cheers,
Julie
