Title: Hello bipedalled friends!
Post by: Sir Real on April 07, 2014, 12:16:51 PM
So I just realized I never actually formally introduced myself. And jeeze, look at my post count. Crazy. So my name is... :icon_pistoles: Evan! Bam. Pleasure to meet you all! :icon_wave:
I'm an FtM, pre everything.  I love tea, bacon, and my dog.
(https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi920.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fad41%2Faceonx%2Fipod312_zps66d9be2e.jpg&hash=15132150cd6e5ab8fe4511f80b8acc6115ae604f)
That's my dog. He's great.
I'm really an oddball and have a lot of uh issues  ;D I'm a high school dropout and am being evaluated to see if I still have a brain or not.  Oh yes, Tim Hortons is one of my favourite places to go. And yes, it is spelled favourite, not favorite. Muahaha. Hmmm can't think of anything else that interesting on the spot but feel free to ask me whatever or whatnot.  Cheers!

Hey man, don't think we've met before.  :icon_wave: nice to meet you anyway.
Cute dog :) what's he called? Mine's a Jackadoodle pup and he's kinda insane.

Hmm...'favourite'. Are you a fellow Brit?

Good to meet you too! I'm Canadian so although we don't pronounce everything properly, at least we spell it right
Thanks! My dog is called Buddy - creative I know XD But his name was "Scooter" and I didn't like it much (and he didn't either) so I started just calling him "Buddy" and it stuck. He's a mini dachshund. Jackadoodles are pretty cute dogs.

Hi! I found this site only recently but it was easier for me to join than I thought it would be. Everyone has been very friendly and welcoming. Are you a part of other sites in addition to this one? Also: aluminum or aluminium?

Canadian! Good enough to me, if I do say so. We kinda love you guys like cousins over in Britland.

Buddy is a catchy name though. I wanted to call our Jackadoodle Boomer, but my mum settled on Ned. NED. All I think about is Ned bloody Flanders.

And Avery, to me it's aluminium. And also vitt-amins or vye-tamins?

Most people here say and write aluminum but I can go either way, personally. It's weird cause French Canadians have Aluminium. And, yeah vytamins XD and fwiw I like Boomer better lol

Oh yeah and our ou sound is a lot different from anyone else's. it's more uhoo than ow. We do not say aboot -.- lols

Yeah I never heard the 'aboot' thing. To my ears it sounds more like 'aboat'.
Guess we Brits don't honestly sound anything like the way some American actors mimic us. We don't over pronounce everything...in fact we just mumble a lot.

Welcome I'm someone else from the colonies (Australia to be precise). Nothing wrong with being an oddball, it's the normal people you have to actually worry about they have no imagination.

I haven't been here long but everyone seems a nice friendly bunch so don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it.

If they are still having problems in evaluating you if you have a brain, do what I did cat scan instant photographic evidence
