Title: Gender bent animated characters
Post by: dalebert on April 11, 2014, 03:01:08 PM
In every case, they made them strikingly beautiful. That's a little weird. Even Ursala, who I loved as a confident obese woman, is a slim and gorgeous octaman. It's hard to connect the two versions. In general though, this is pretty cool.

Nice art though! Had to laugh that the female version of Jack Skellington has a bust...how does a skeleton have boobs??

Nice to look at, but why did they make Ursula fit? Not that I'm complaining. Hades and Ursula are my favourites. Maleficent would be too except that outfit is kinda ridiculous.

Does it mean I'm a bad person because I'm sorta rooting for Maleficent in the new movie even though I know she's a villain and can't be allowed to win?

I almost always root for the villain.

Here's yer animated trans character, right here.

Erica Porcupine.

I didn't draw her, I only created her in print. I had an artist draw her and a couple of other characters. Dude did an amazing job.

I agree. I think a fat male Ursula would have still been awesome.

Me too. For some reason, they always seem more human a lot of the time. Especially cartoons. Seems like the good guy rarely has much personality.

Is it just me, or is male Ariel even prettier than his female counterpart?

You know what I Have to say to that? HUBBA HUBBA! I have a weakness for somewhat androgynous yet clearly-male pretty guys ...and also red hair.
