Susan's Place Transgender Resources

Hello Girls. This thread is for all of us. The idea is to help those of us that would like to meet other MTF's living in the same area who want to meet up to talk or form a group, or even just give each other some one on one support. You can list the State you live in along with only the general area of that State where you reside (please do not post your address, phone number, or exact area where you live here on this thread for security concerns) Then as others read this thread and see your post and realize they live close to you, you can exchange PM's for details on where to meet. For our sisters living in other Countries I'm sure you can adapt the above ideas to suit your needs using your countries description of areas and names for cities and or states.

Again please do not post your exact address, or exact place where you live on this open thread. Only the general area of where you reside. If you see that you live close to someone you can pm each other for further details.

I know I'd love to meet more TG MTF's in my area so I'll start things off: I live in the US in the State of Florida. I'm about an hour and a half north Of Tampa near the West Coast. If any of you live in, or are near my area I'd love to hear from you so send me a pm!

Last I think it worth mentioning I cannot take full credit for this idea It was Veronica M who first came up with the general Idea. And I'll paraphrase her warning: Please use common sense and be safe when meeting people over the internet.

I am in southwest Florida if anyone else is close that would be great as there does not seem to be any local support groups that I can find.

Not in Florida yet but planning to move to the Mouse's area by the end of the year. Keep me in mind.

I'm sort of on the wrong side of the pond, being based in England.  If there are enough TG women in the UK who want to meet up, I'd definitely consider it.

I know, you know how I feel about you guys, Mom & Mom 2. I started this thread to help others, lol!, and maybe see who's up here. Don't worry I know where I want and need to be, and As you know I'll be back down there soon enough for good. Then my cats can mingle with your cats, and they can call us "crazy cat ladies!, lol!! Hey say hi to Buddy, Number 4, and all the cats and even Meathead for me will ya!

I wanted to go out today myself but it's chilly up here today, and as you know my boat's too fast to go out when it's chilly, lol!. I guess another cold front came through and slipped past me, lol!

Sure will Dee, Disney World is only 50 minutes away from me. However I'll be moving south to the Lake Okeechobee area within the year. Hopefully we get to meet up before my move.

Glad to see people are interested in this... I am in the San Diego CA. area, but LA is within driving distance as well. Would love to meet up with a few girls here... Sounds like a lot of fun...

Won't matter, Allyda. I like long drives in the country (I sound like a playmate! ;D ). I will literally hop in the car and drive half a day, then turn back around for the pure joy of it.

I live in los angeles in the sfv. I would be open to meeting people within 7 years of my age and within about 30 miles of the valley.

It takes about 4 hours to get to where I'm moving to from where I live Dee, about 3 & 1/2 hours from where your moving to. I'll be here where I'm at for a little while yet though whilst I get everything I own fixed and rented here. If that's not too far then, we'll get to meet up after all. :icon_flower:

What part of LA? I'm originally from California and when recovering from my accident I had an apartment on the corner of Whitley & Hollywood Blvd, -right on the walk of fame.

I actually live in North San Diego County... A little town call San Marcos which is about 12 miles in from the coast. It's not very LGBT open as I'd like it to be, but a nice neighborhood none the less.

I am about 20 minutes north of San Francisco, CA but I'm not big on the whole driving in the city thing... In fact my doctors appointment in SF on tuesday will be the first time I drive in the city other than highway 1 and 19th ave.

I also go to Monterey County once or twice a month visiting family so with proper scheduling I could meet with anyone in between.

I live in that blue house on the coast of NC. There is a transwoman that also lives in our tiny town, but we have little in common other than both being trans and that's not enough to become more than acquaintances with her.

I've been to San Diego and loved it there. At the time though I knew I was trans I was just visiting and didn't look into the local support. Where I live now there's virtually no support at all. I drive an hour and a half to my Endo, an hour for my PC, and the only Doc I see that's close to me is my pain management Doc. And so far I haven't found any LGBT support groups close by.
