Well, I saw this one coming... Elaboration is in order, huh? A while back I started to see a therapist, it's been over a year now actually, she then referred me to CAMH (I live in Ontario, Canada). Turns out they have completely forgotten about me, whomever had my case file disappeared and I really don't want to go through six months of waiting again.
Is there anywhere else I can go? Because I need to move on. My depression is getting worse and worse and no amount of anti-depressants can help me.
I don't know what to do...

i'm sorry that happened to you. CAMH isn't liked by a lot of people but i went through them. this was a few years ago when they still had RLE requirements and idk if they still do but i know one girl who ended up getting her hormone approval in like a month, definitely made me jealous with how long i had to wait...i only stayed because i knew they would get ohip to pay for my surgeries but it took honestly forever to get hormones (rle related again...) and surgery will probably be a hell of a wait too.
there is sherbourne health clinic which i've only heard good things about that you can go through and they're also located in toronto. they allow counseling and also provide HRT. idk if you have to do RLE, i don't think so but yeah, CAMH isn't the only way to go. sherbourne doesn't get approval for surgeries through ohip so they'd refer you to CAMH for that. from there i don't think you'd have to go through that whole 6 months this and that stuff.

I know some who are in the CAMH process and its no better for them.
Here in Quebec you can go private and then have Montreal GCS surgery center apply to RAMQ for funding. That's how I went, paid out of pocket for all my letters.
Lots of luck.
