OMG prom is in two days and Ive got requests from so many guys and I'm like.. whaaat? Well to be honest this is my first Prom since my transition and I'm just lost in the woods. I go to school and BAM! A bunch or cards on my locker asking me out and im like Oh gawd I never knew I was reeling in that much attention from guys. So now I'm like freaking out! What do I wear? How will I do my hair? Who am I going to choose? Well there is this guy I like and we hanged out a few times should I ask him? Or should I wait for him to ask? Will he even ask me?
And I just released I need to go shopping for something to wear! So girls I really really need you guys to help me out here.

Too funny, even when you get asked by several you still end up hoping to go with someone different. Same thing happened to me once (I was dude-ing it up then though so I was in different shoes) but I would say focus less on who you go with and more on having a good time overall!

Once you get to the prom it won't matter all that much who you came with, everyone sort of mingles and spreads out anyway. Just make sure not to ditch your date completely because that would be kind of rude ;)

I finally had something picked out to wear, and that guy I liked asked me out! Ill post a pic of of what I'm wearing tomorrow before leaving for prom.

I had the most wonderful time ever! So I was waiting for my date to arrive and I didn't expect him to wear anything too formal, then the bell rang and I practically went EEP! Mum opened the door and I came out from behind her and my date was like 'wow' then he was all
Him: wow
Me: Too much?
Him: No I mean like you're beautiful.
Me: Thank you! That's  A first time a guy has said that to me.
Him: Guys call you cute all the time.
Me: Yeah but not to my face.
Him: Well it is true tho.
Me: Stop it you..

So mom asked him his name and he said his name is Ashton. So while my mom was talking to him I was standing there while he was staring at me I couldn't help but to giggle. So mom knew stuff was getting awkward so she said 'Now you two should get going and Ashton look after my daughter shes the only one I have, and do not get her drunk and I repeat do not get her drunk. She can drink I'm not stopping her but not too much okay? So we went round the block to where he parked his car and I never knew he drives till he told me that he left the car on, so I went 'heh he drives not bad should be some old Nissan or Toyota tho' but when we got round the corner there was his car red with a white pinstripe a Ferrari?! naah no way that's his car maybe his is the one behind it. Then he went 'uhm Eve? The car is here'
Me: Wow.. your dad got you a Ferrari? For your first car?
Him: Yeah.. too much?
Me: I thought you said he was in construction?
Him: Nah I don't like to brag about his job it makes me feel out of place, but if you must know hes a co-pilot.
Me: Ahhh that explains the Ferrari.
Him: So shall we get a move on then? I need to find parking away from the jocks.
Me: Why they'd trash your car?
Him: No they would spray it.
Me: Ah k I see. Lets go.

So we drove to our school and I saw a few friends just coming in too so he drove into the school and he revved the engine abit and almost everyone turned and saw him and me in the car and they were all like well this face>>> 0___0. So he parked and we went in and there was this boy looking at me and he went wow I knew Ashton had class but going out with Evelyn? A trans girl? Just sad man. Some of them there were whispering but most of them went '->-bleeped-<-, shes still a girl dude, were you raised in a pig farm?' So I felt good knowing most of them had my back. So we went into the hall where the prom was and it was so noisy In there. I was real shy at first but I loosened up eventually after a few dances ( I stepped on Ashton's foot once ) then It happened the slow dance! I was really nervous now! So he held me by the waist and I was just in heaven! So we started dancing and then he said,
Him: Y,know you're a thief y,know that?
Me: And why is that?
Him: You stole something from me.
Me: And that would be?
Him: My heart.
Me: Nawww stop that you're making me blush.
Him: No I'm serious Eve you're the most beautiful girl  I've ever met and you're kind, funny, smart I can go on forever if you want me to.
Me: Really you think I'm all that?
Him: Yeah I do why? Too cheesy?
Me : No its just that... that was the nicest thing anyone has said to me. But you do kno-
Him: I don't care if you were a guy Eve it doesn't matter. What matters is how you are inside, others may think otherwise but I see a really beautiful and wonderful girl whenever I look at you, and today its proven that you are indeed really really beautiful.
Me: Wow Ash that was I mean.. well, I don't know what to say.

Then it happened he.... kissed me. Yes. Yes he kissed me. And I have never felt such happiness in my life and a tear rolled down my cheek and he said,
Him: Eve you're crying.
Me: No I'm just real happy because I never thought this day would come. I never thought someone could fall In love with me.
Him: well I did.
Me: Umm Ash?
Him: hmm?
Me: Everyone is staring at us.
Him: And they are..
Me: What now?
Him: Dance?
Me: We are
Him: Continue dancing
Me: mmm kay.

Then they started clapping I don't know why but they did. So I asked whats with the clapping? And they said Its because Ive been voted prom queen.
Me:Haha real funny...hahaha...ha......ha.............ha oh wait you're serious?
Ashton: Yeah they are.
Me: wauw..

So after the crowning and more dances and I got a bit bubbly. We headed home so in the car-lot Ashton kissed me again and I kissed back. We drove home and he walked me to my door and he said
Ashton: Thanks for being my date today Eve.
Me: Yeah.. you too.
Ashton: So Ill see you tomorrow?
Me: Why Mr. Ashton are you asking me out on a date?
Him: uhhh yes?
Me: pick me up at 4?
Him: Sure. So umm bye I guess.
Me: Bye

So I was about to walk in the house when he ran to me and kissed me again. And he whispered into my ear: 'I love you Evelyn. I was just stuck there and I mean liked frozen then I think my legs were jelly by now. But I still managed to say I loved him back. So he drove off and I went inside and mum was there peeping from the door hole.
Me: Mum!
Mum: What?!
Me: Were you spying on me?
Mum: no.
Me: You sure?
Mum: yeap
Me: You saw me kiss him didn't you?
Mum: Yes, yes I did.
So I hugged mum and told her about my first prom. And I went to bed and I slept like a log. And now I'm up and I'm really looking forward to seeing him today. So yeah there you go, my Prom story. Actually a fairy tale prom story. Cos all my dreams came true yesterday. So girls never give up! Never! Cos there is always someone out there waiting for you, it may take weeks, months heck Maybe it would take years, but one thing I do know that dreams... do come true.  ;)

Evelyn I am so happy for you!  :) Wow, I am getting all emotional just imagining how great a night it was for you. Your story made my day and you looked so beautiful in your pictures. I am so glad it went well for you. Keep us posted! ;)

Wow. Just wow. I dont know if a tenth of that will ever happen to me while im still in high school, but holy crap i hope so. It was like... a beautiful fairy tale. Kinda gives me hope actually. I'm glad you had a great time Evelyn!
