Title: Southwest florida endo

Does anyone know of a trans friendly endocrinologist in the southwest florida/fort myers area? I have found some in Tampa but I am hoping to not have to travel quite that far although I will if I must.  Maybe even a link to a website of listings might help.  I have looked at all that I can think of with no luck.

Not to much closer, but closer, Sarasota. Dr. Wende Kozlow. 3333 Cattleman Rd. Suite 104. Sarasota, FL 34232.  (941) 379-1777. Cost: $83-278, call to see if she accepts insurance. I know that it's a drive, but you aren't going up there a lot. Perhaps twice, maybe three times to start, then only for quarterly check-ups. Once in, you can get the blood work done locally. These guys are really hard to find, few and far between. A real niche. A sub specialty. I'm lucky of sorts. There are three in my area. One only twenty-five miles away - not using him. Another only a few. She's the prefered one, but not on my insurance plan The one I am going to is the best around, sixty miles away. And it's taken me three months to get in to see him. Just understand that our options, for some of us, aren't the greatest. These guys do have to make a living and go where they can serve the most, do the most good. Just relax and enjoy the drive. After all, you do live in one of the most beautiful areas in the nation, and on the BEST coast!
