I'm a long time crossdresser, married, heterosexual and not 'out' in public. My wife knows and is sometimes supportive, sometimes dismissive, never consistent. She fears I'm on the slippery slope to the big snip and I cannot convince her otherwise. I have no gender dysphoria, don't think I'm in the wrong body, kinda like all my 'bits' just the way they are. I just have a urge to'dress' and don't fight it.
I regularly underdress, even at work but have not, and probably will never go out fully dressed. I could not pass at a convention for the blind, standing in a dark corner, during a power blackout, under a blanket!!! But I'm happy.
I have gone to a local CD group and am slowly feeling a little more confident. Hope to make a few more friends.

Come on Donna it doesn't get cold in Canberra for another month ;D. Spent serious time in the capital twice once in Hawker the other time in Gowrie. (Use to have fun yelling at the cube at civc and watch it change colours)

Had to laugh.... There's a LBGT night club in civic called 'Cube'. I thought for just a sec that you were referring to that... Didn't know it would change colour if you shouted at it... The bouncers might though!!!
