Title: Intro / Advice
Post by: shanetastic on July 21, 2007, 04:54:05 AM
Heyas everyone. . .

First off first post. . . woohoo haha I guess.  Anyways though I had a few questions when I was roaming through this forum and couldn't find an answer for.  I just recently turned 19 years old and am about to start hormones, possibly within the next two months, and I was just curious as to what people have experienced with them.  I'm pretty tall at about 6'1 but I only weigh 135. . . odd I know don't ask I just can't gain weight haha.  Anyways I was just curious of other peoples opinions about what to expect in the upcoming months/years.

Thanks Again.

(hopefully more posts to come; guess you have to start somewhere!)

Don't expect miracles....hormones are limited and more information should be provided on what they can and can't do. Different people react differently to them. I personally have been on them for 7 years and they haven't had much effect. I have very slight breast growth and no fat - redistribution that I can see. You might say I look ok in my aviator pic but I have always looked the same before I took hormones.

Hormones may work better or worse on you depending on your genetics. At 19 you've got a better chance than most as you are still quite young and full male development (or vice versa) has not yet been fully implimented.

Hi Shanetastic, are you any relation to Joetastic. Berliegh has pretty much summed it up, when it comes to hormones you have to take what you can get.

Hi Shanetastic

   Welcome to susans.
I hope you find what you're looking for, but I guess nobody can tell you how you will be affected by hormones.

But take a look around and keep asking questions and you should get enough information to get you started.

Peace,

Rebis

And no, no relation.  I just always use this username thing as a forum name and stuff.
