Title: Huge Dilemma!

Okay so last night, I downloaded this app called Badoo because a friend wanted me to. Anyway, I met this gorgeous man and we talked for a bit and to make a long story short, exchanged numbers. He texted me this morning and we had a cute little conversation and he asked me when I leave California. I told him on Thursday and he insists that we meet and hang out. How do I tell him that I am trans*? When do I tell him? I'm really nervous. I don't want to meet him without telling him because..... he could kill me or something to be honest. Or it could just be super embarrassing. But I don't want to tell him prematurely and ruin our chance of him really getting to know me as a person. *sigh*

I don't know ,but if you that worried about being physically hurt I'd text him or e-mail him and get it over with now. You don't no him and you wait to meet him to tell him your taking your chances . If you get it over with now your out of harms way. your very pretty , I wouldn't worry about your ability to attract people.

Agree with Stephanie. It's what I would do if it was me. Better to take a chancw telling him now and at least either way it goes you will be safe.

Please tell him as soon as possible. Your safety depends on it, even if he doesn't strike you as unsafe. And don't be surprised if he accepts or rejects your specialness. As the others have said, you're an attractive woman and will you will meet attractive men for whom your being trans won't be an issue. I'm not just blowing smoke. I've been dating men I meet on a dating site for a year. I don't disclose my trans-status until after we start messaging (and LONG before we meet). Probably around 1/3 of the men I think are worth pursing conversation with don't mind. Being rejected two out of three times sucks, but life could be worse. Plus, I've never had my heart broken by any of these men because I had not gone very far without telling them.
You were strong enough to transition; you ARE strong enough to risk rejection.

I'm more or so worried about emotional distress than physical. I just told him anyway so blah
