I have been in country since June 12. Things are very peaceful on the street here in Bangkok, where unrest, if any occurs, is expected to be concentrated. The nightly curfew was lifted Friday so that the country could go out to watch World Cup matches all night. There is heavy security anywhere crowds occur to prevent any problems. I sensed no hostility towards foreigners at all.
