Title: Laboratory Testing
Post by: Aphrodite636 on June 02, 2014, 02:19:36 AM
Hi everybody,
I am a mtf, 41 years old, and on my 4th HRT anniversary. Also I have done orchiectomy.
Now I have a problem about my tests. They are as  follows:

Testosterone: 0.4 ng/ml
Estradiol: 14 pg/ml
FSH: 0.7 Mlu/ml
LH: 0.5 MlU/Ml
Prolactin: >100 ng/ml
Progesteron: 1.6 ng/ml

I don't know what happened to my estradiol. Last year It was 300 pg/ml. Please let me know what you think about my all tests.
Let's develop this topic please. So you are kindly requested to share your tests with others for evaluation.
Thanks

The first most obvious question is how are you getting estrogen, sublingual tablets while very common are very hard to pin down to an exact E level. Over the course of even a few hours it can change drastically.

I bet I could get some sky high readings right after my pill dissolves but since that is how I take it, once per day there isn't much that could be done. In fact it isn't even being measured, just went with a very small dose and after a bit it seemed to be working so everyone agrees no reason to up my dose based to test numbers. Every doctor I have talked to seems adament about being on the lowest possible dose for results.
