Title: Any "interesting" reactions?

What were the most unexpected/weirdest/funniest reactions you got from coming out?
My dad's main concern (or lack thereof) was that he doesn't care what his neighbours might think, because "they have so much to gossip about, they might as well have a new rumour to spread".
So... I'm the social equivalent of buying a louder lawn mower...

An acquaintance I came out to way back gave the most unexpected reaction I've ever had. After being quiet for about ten minutes, they said, and I quote: "Can I have your balls when you're done with them, then? I keep telling <someone we both knew> to grow a pair and come bungee jumping with me, but he won't. I'll give them to him."
After staring open-mouthed for about two minutes, I couldn't stop laughing.

A cismale friend suddenly became very intrested in my HRT upon learning that sexuality sometimes changed on it and told me to let him know the if it did even a little. Then he is like 'not because I am intrested or anything just because uh I would like to know'
To me that is bizarre and I still like women so I guess I will never know exactly what that was all about.

The most surprising reaction to me was from one cis female friend with whom I've been friends now for 17 years. I told her, unsure of what to expect but she's pretty open minded and she didn't disappoint, accepting me very quickly. She then told me that "Now everything makes sense." I asked her what she meant and she said that I was unlike any man she'd ever met but upon learning that I was trans, suddenly everything feminine about me fell into place.
What was even more surprising was my favorite cousin, upon telling her this, said almost the same thing. I told her we'd not seen each other much since we were teens, though we'd spent tons of time together as children. She said she knew and that was what helped it all fall into place, that I was unlike all the other boys.
All this gave me pause in that I'd thought I'd hidden everything so carefully for years and then I discover that my real self had been leaking through all that time. :)

that I was unlike all the other boys.
I've been hearing that for years from people, and I never knew what they meant (neither did they, but they knew something was different).
Now I know.
