Title: estrodiol Cypionate

I probably spelled it wrong. Anyone on it? First injection coming on Teusday. Long needle...
Looks pretty good to me I like the half life stats. My serums used to really tank.
All endo driven here.
Looking for any feedback or reactions. Also I walk two miles, one of them up a steep hill, every morning. With these leg shots anyone have any esperience with that?
It was mailed and the mailbox got up to high temp. I will call the pharmacy but anything on that one either?
Going with it regardless, but should have my eyes open. I suspect I will finally get stable blood levels.
Careful not to scare me too much folks, I am not the most stable one in here with fear issues due to a couple of horrendous mind crashes before I had my breakthrough of acceptance of being GQ. I had a real tough time mentally accepting being trans.
So if it is bad, be careful how you tell me that please.
Thanks.

Estradiol Cypionate. I know of some on it. Needle should be 1.25 to 1.5 inches long to reach muscle.

Half-life is longer than with EV (estradiol valerate). It can be taken every 10-14 days, at most. But, preferably every 10 days.

Why not in the butt where it hurts much less? Upper outer quadrant. Much more fat.

Prolonged exposure (several days) to heat over 30 Celsius (86 Fahrenheit) can deteriorate the product. I don't think a few hours would be a problem.

One thing many doctors ignore/overlook is that unlike EV, EC acts on estrogen receptors in two ways. As the unchanged form estradiol cypionate which is not measured by labs and then as the transformed 17-beta estradiol which is tested. This accounts for why dose for EC is much lower than for EV. EC could also be potentially be more risky for clotting due to this even though given non-orally.

Took a long time to figure out and accept I was GQ. Lot of therapy, several crashes. Check the non binary section for an amazing video of a GQ trans winning Eurovision, and then you can think of me.... fairly close look though she is more female and I m more male above the neck, but not by much now.
This stuff is bio identical isn't it? Or real close?
Not too worried about clotting, and will stay on my low dose aspirin. More worried about long term risk factors.
Pharmacy was not concerned no worries on the short heat exposure.
Thanks for all of you responding, and you acceptance, I am very sensitive about being GQ but it is the only way I can preserve all that I hold dear. Like sleeping in my wifes arms at night, wrapped up in her love, even mid transition physically. Or full presentationally, GQ, same thing.
Priceless. Unusual gift for one of us to recieve, to preserve a marriage while transitioning in my case to a non binary identity. Makes me tear up.
GQ is beautiful too. We all are.
Thanks for the feedback, as usual:)

Partly. Estradiol cypionate in its active form is NOT. When converted in the body to estradiol, yes.

The jury is still out on whether aspirin really does anything to prevent deep vein clots as it tends to affect more clotting in arteries which is a whole other thing. One report though indicated that it could be useful so...

Thanks for your kind responses
The injecting thing isn't bad at all, nothing to fear there, was surprised. Not painful, utube has a pain free method that doesn't hurt going into the leg. I was very pleased, it works.
Feeling the effects, familiar, mild- will be interesting as the endo gets it to correct levels.
I think the two mile morning walks will probably be effective also against clotting.
Strange being in a doc office like that injecting with a half slip pulled up and a male stealth presentation on the surface, except of course my nails and hair.... they didn't even blink.
Enjoy the night and thanks for making a difference and your ongoing inputs. I think I am at journey's end on this one, will stay with this, nothing else has worked well with the serum levels so far.
Will report back on if it worked.

You should mention to doctor that only estradiol levels are measured and not levels of estradiol cypionate so really, measuring levels doesn't give a complete picture, it totally ignores the active form of estradiol cypionate which also strongly affects estrogen receptors.

Like I said, focus more on how you feel and your physical results rather than levels because levels, in this particular case, are misleading. With injections, they also fluctuate from day to day anyways so really, there's no point.
I kinda feel weird too showing my bum to a total stranger with every injection but I'm fulltime, have been for several years so it's probably not the same. But, I'm glad they didn't think anything of it...good stuff!

They were and have been very supportive- they get it. Also the endo believes that we as trans have estrogen receptors in our brains that normal males do not have, hence they feel like crap when injected, and we are euphoric. Thoughts? DES causal link here for me too
My first encounter with them was more traumatic. They were fine then too. I had thigh high socks on at the time, since I was only partially shaved from the top down, stealth in shorts, and had the prostate exam. That leg hair didn't last long.... eeeewwww hate it
Walking on the shot was fine. Sore a little today but its nothing.
My color perception is off the charts wonderful, and I feel really good., energized, a little high or euphoric, all what is normal at mid cycle of a sublingual pass.
As to the levels, thanks for the advice, I'll blow those off and let the endo who has 40 years experience with trans and hormones do his thing. I keep waiting to crash and am staying stable and feeling like I did 2 hours into a sublingual delivery. Which is nice... at this point I am not concerned, I think it is all going to be good now. I did notice it going up and down but its not big, its mild deviations in euphoria.
E crashes feel awful.
Thanks dear. FTE? Brave girl, good for you. I guess I am FTE too as a toned down GQ with the hair, nails and concealed boobs. Feels good to be out. Tired of hiding.
