Colleague I haven't seen in a while: "I'm glad I wore a dress today but you always look so good!"
Me (internal): You're competing with me? Me!?!
Amazing. I am the same person who was all "FLANNEL!" when grunge hit after all.

Computation? Stinking autocorrect! Hopefully I fixed the title of this thread overall now...
After where I've been mentally these last few weeks, I wanted to accentuate the positive. So as an out transwoman to have a cis woman looking up to me in the area of style, I just think that's pretty darn cool. And unexpected. There is nothing wrong with flannel. In moderation. ;)
I also wanted to post a good thing cause while I don't remember all the details of how it felt to be pre-transition, I remember a lot of dread and a lot of fear. I just want those behind me to have good stories to give them hope that despite the sheerness of the climb, when you reach where you're going the effort is so worth it! :)
