As of June 6th I have officially been prescribed testosterone at last. I've been instructed to inject it subcutaneously, but I have a fairly severe needle phobia....any advice? I can't believe after ten years of waiting and preparing to give up on testosterone as an unreachable dream that this is finally happening.

just do it lol its what I do, the nurses show you how to give it at first, once its in, it doesn't hurt, and just take it out quick

All I can say is at least you're getting the small needle. I hope to go on subq shots simply because the needles of IM shots are what scare me. Hopefully the smaller needle will be easier for you to handle. And once you do it once, you know what to expect.

If it's possible to get a nurse to do it for you (I know sometimes people are restricted by cost), I highly recommend it. I was having trouble giving myself needles and finally said to heck with it, I'm going to see the nurses at my Drs office. It's a 1.5 hour commute each way but such a relief.
If not, when I was still doing it myself, I just kept trying to tell myself it wasn't going to get any less scary, so I may as well do it now, lol. Plus I just try to imagine that rather than a needle actually entering my body, someone is just punching me and it's going to smart for a minute.
