Hi all,

So today has been all over the board. On a happy note, I was able to schedule a laser hair consultation for next week. Even going to ask them about something that caught my eye called MiraDry. Looks like something that would allow me to get underarm laser earlier. Anyone have any experience with MiraDry? Its basically for stopping underarm sweat/odor.

On the downside, feeling frustrated with lack of local or localish medical support. Particularly on starting HRT. Lots of will maintain if already started but wont start hrt.

Thinking I probably need to get mind off hrt and look/work on other aspects of transition. Dysphoria is spiky today. Worked on voice today. Continued thinking about names. Loving my hair as it gets longer but cant will it to grow faster. Might do some online clothes browsing. That seems to soothe me as I work on my fashion sense.

Speaking of names, here's my top three. Thoughts or opinions would help. I like all three.

Brianne - Fem version of my name
Samantha - Always liked this name, probably from watching Bewitched as a child
Cassandra - A more recent fav

Other names but might be a little too exotic.

Kamyu -  My fav char from an anime.
Ruri - Another fav from anime. Also my avatar picture.

Sorry for venting, just felt like I needed some support. Feeling a little better already just from posting this.

Thoughts, ideas, encouragement are all welcome.

Hugs!  Its a slow process, I know.  When they say patience is needed, they weren't lying.  But you'll get there!  Your name is yours for the choosing, but I 3rd that Cassandra seems to fit.

Hugs!! Its all a process which is absolutely nothing short of frustrating in the beginning especially! But the struggles and things we all have to deal with is what makes us who we are and what helps bring us all together! Hang in there girl!!!

PS.. I like Brianne personally, but thats just my opinion.

Many more Hugs (those little drink barrels are fun and tasty! :D)   I like Cassandra and Brianne.  Maybe shorten Cassandra to Cassie for close friends/nickname?  Just a thought.  I think you sound more like a Cassie than just a Cassandra, but that's just me.

Funny, my first instinct was Cassandra also. It must be right.
