Hi all,
I am a 26 years old mtf ts and have been on hormones since 21 years old (previously only on anti androgens to avoid any further masculinization). Now after about 5 years I can say that I can pass if Im not passable. Anyways back to my question.. I created this account just to be able to interact with all you but also to ask you some questions for which I got too sick, worried and upset the last days. I have completed my Bachelor's degree in Economics (University of Cyprus, EU) and the MSc in Oil and Gas Enterprise Management (University of Aberdeen, UK), and I will be moving this August 2014 to Tampa Florida, USA to do the MBA starting the Fall 2014.
Since I am buying all my medicines (progynon depot, casodex, spironolactone, dutasteride, cyprotrone acetate) from alldaychemist.com (ADC): If I will buy my medicines while I will be in Tampa Florida (USA), do I need any prescription (to present to the US customs/post office) for the medines coming from this website or any other online pharmacies? because in my country the customs/post office don't let the parcel to come to my house, even if it is express and they hold it for check and then request a prescription to allow me to get it. I have also done my own research online and found the regulations for buying syringes and prescribed medications to be more strict in NY, CA, FL, DC, IL than in other states, are requiring a prescription but I am not sure if this also applies if someone buys his/her medicines from online medicines.
If in the USA they request a prescription for the medines that I will buy from the ADC while being in the USA, then a prescription from a Cypriot(outside USA-international) doctor is acceptable?
Thanks so much for taking your time to read my message. I would be grateful if you could answer my questions, from you all that you are experienced in these situations or that you know.. because the last days hearing this I got too sick and upset since w/o the hormones my life is nothing. I hope I will see at least some answers from you to feel better and to be again optimistic.
Please help me, I need your help :(

Ahh yes.
Sorry Babydoll, we do not allow discussion of how to get HRT without prescription under medical supervision.
I will say that if you are taking the combination you mention I would see an endocrinologist and seek medical advice urgently

I think you can make an appointment with a doc in FL to continue any scripts you had before. Bringing your old script or a copy of doctor records for the new doc would speed things up quite a bit. Post office here makes you sign for them proving you have the script.

You should talk with your doctor in the UK that gives you the prescriptions and get a copy of your medical records and see if he/she can recommend anyone in the US in the are you will be in. If not just bring all that stuff with you. If not find someone, explain the situation, make an appointment and go from there. Since you already on HRT and really need it, you should be some sort of priority and be able to see an endo without all the psychological stuff. Just make sure that you bring copies of all your medical records even from therapists and so on. Better safe than sorry. And they may want to do their own physical and other tests on you just to cover themselves. But definately do it the right way.

If you presented a prescription online, I don't think customs will bother. I'd call a few local endo's and see if you can't get an appt with one that will continue your care.

Also keep in mind that cyproterone acetate (Cypro) is not FDA approved and as such can't be sold or prescribed in the US, if you intend to get a prescription in the US you will need to switch to Spiro.

Seems to me she is saying she has a prescription from a Cypriot doctor.
Importing medications is legal in the US, even ones not FDA approved such as CPA but, there are conditions to this: http://www.fda.gov/AboutFDA/Transparency/Basics/ucm194904.htm If you read those caveats, it should be obvious that it is much easier just to go to a US endo or informed consent clinc and get them to prescribe FDA approved medications. There you won't get CPA but there are plenty of alternatives.
Generally speaking you are going to need a prescription filled by a US doctor if you want to remain legal, I don't doubt that doctors in Cyprus know what they are doing, but to be in compliance with FDA policy you have to see a US doctor.
Also, I am no doctor, but there are quite a few antiandrogens on that list you have there....I am really hoping you wrote them as examples, I have never heard of anyone prescribing more than one AA at a time...
