Can you suck on tablets to dissolved them rather than under the tounge (sublingual)?

I'm pretty sure that would be no different than just swallowing the tablet.

I would ask the doctor. From what I saw pills are more likely to damage the liver than this type of method. I would stick to what the doctor says.

Like was said above, it is the exact same as swallowing. Infact, unless you are taking a micronized estrogen pill, sublingual doesn't really work. (This according to my doctor)

All oral bio-identical estradiol today is micronized (microscopic particles) to help it better absorb in the digestive tract so it can be taken sublingually, if agreed upon with doctor.
Sucking is the same as swallowing.
