Title: One step out

When I listen to some songs, I just start thinking of my own words to match the melodies and end up writing songs and poems, even though I don't think I'm that good. I just wrote this-
I stayed in the darkness of my own thoughts,
always thinking of the light
planning every move, knowing I'll have to fight
You take one step out of the closet
There's bound to be something you regret
But you have to risk the life you have,
To gain the life you always wanted
Like the leaf, I'll ride the breeze of fate
I'm ready to endure,all that awaits
Whether you agree or not, I've started down my path
And I firmly swear
I will make it there
I'm trans!
