After been given the 'yes' to SRS, I should of had it all done, this or next month. It's private, so the waiting times are 7 days.

Thanks. What things will I need? Not really thought of anything, other than I'm having SRS. Don't really know what it will be like seeing my surgeon and talking over the type of SRS I want or what the day of my SRS will be like. What do I have to prepare for? At the moment I am not worried about anything.

Most surgeons give you a list of stuff you'll need - especially folks like Brassard.
Also - look at this website. It's helpful. http://ai.eecs.umich.edu/people/conway/TS/SRS/Zen/Postop%20Maintenance.html

Handy supplies for at home: A lot of tubes of lube. 100% cotton gauze sterile dressing pads. Pantyliners. Bed liners (to sit on whilst dilating.) Antibacterial soap and stuff to keep your personal areas clean and disinfected. Lots of wash cloths (handy for wiping lube off your hands.) Flushable baby wipes. Sterile saline. Douches as indicated by doc. Glycerin suppositories. Sitz bath. Inflatable donut to sit on. Warm/cool packs. I found having antibiotic ointment, sterile swabs, and tiny grooming scissors helpful too.
