Hi everyone!
I have been lurking all over this site for a long time, getting informed and enjoying anecdotes, to a point where it just feels outright wrong for me not to join and, eventually, share my experiences as well. So here I am!
About me:
- My name is Nephenee, or Neph for short. If you can't tell from the name, I'm a very geeky, hipster-y kind of girl and I enjoy learning and talking about everything!
- I'm a MTF trans, currently pre-op and pre-HRT. Like many here, being a woman is something I always desired but for a long time I dismissed as an impossibility, something that wasn't for me to pursue. It wasn't until a couple of years ago I began questioning that assumption and exploring my own identity, and it wasn't until less than a year ago that I finally realized I can't be happy until I pursue this change. So I started the process, went to therapy to talk things through, etc ... and frankly I have never been more excited about my life.
- Soon I'll be moving to Washington state to pursue new career options, so if you're from that area you'll probably see me asking a bunch of questions about community support over there, places to go, people to meet and the like. Especially since I look forward to making new friends once I move! (I also plan on starting HRT over there and I'm extremely excited.)
- I love love love Nintendo video games. Like, I'm a gigantic Nintendo fangirl. Particularly Pokemon and Smash Bros. So if there's people here who are just as obsessed about this ... you. me. friends. NOW! (if you want to ...)
