Title: Struggling to find a doctor
Post by: Emmy on July 09, 2014, 01:01:30 PM
I just moved from North Carolina where my HRT doctor was Dr. Marlowe in Charlotte.
Overall worked out okay there.

I now live in Highlands county of Florida.. which is unfortunately a really small place. I've looked into a good number of doctors here and so far no one can help me continue HRT.
The closest doctors I know of that might be able to help are a bit too far for someone that doesn't have a proper method of transportation.

Does anyone know of anything around here that is within an hour to get to or any places I can look? Surely there has to be a doctor somewhere that can help..
Really don't know what I'm going to do if I have to stop HRT, but I'm running out of options.

The closest might be in Ft Myers but I'm assuming you've already done the googles for LGBT groups that have health provider lists/recommendations. In a pinch some Planned Parenthood centers can prescribe hrt.
