Wow...it's been so long since I last visited and chatted here...I left most of the LGBT community somewhere in 2012 when I was very negative about my transgender identity/prospect
My life didnt suddenly change into a fairlytale but atleast the sky cleared up and it's starting to get springtime in my head; I moved houses about 1 and a half years ago to get some more privacy and I finally felt secure enough to "walk the walk" (Elegantly? Haha) when it came to transition so contacted the hospital again
I've had long but positive (They said I had everything going for transition apart from my mental issues/agony) history with the national gender healthcare provider (VU, Amsterdam). I've always felt treated appropriately by them and thankfully they still had my medical files so I didnt had to start from scratch if you will. They've greenlighted the HRT/RLE quicker than I expected but I was only in glee: It was finally going to happen!
So fast forward, I've been on HRT now for just shy of 3 months and I am starting to feel better and better; some breast growth, different smell, some scalp hair regrowth, smoother skin, and other minor changes. Yes, my nipples are painful, bathe in sweat at night and I have some headaches every now and then but isnt that part of the journey? Mentally I am more open and calmer. I'll always be socially aware and insecure but that's me, it wont go away entirely
I'm slowly blossoming into what I feel, and it feeels guud :-*

This was actually my second departure from Susans, the first one was under a different accountname during a time when I was more androgynous in appearance and thought, not ready for anything HRT/SRS related. It took time
