Title: Friggin People. Am I right?
Post by: Lara the Lover and the Fighter on July 16, 2014, 12:38:12 PM
This is from my One Body Per Lifetime facebook page:

"Thanks a lot rocket scientist. You can point out all of my masculine qualities. I'll get you a friggin medal after the commercial break.

Well guess what. My muscular broad shoulders ARE feminine. My wide rib cage IS feminine. My huge boat paddle feet ARE feminine.

I am female not because of my body but because of who I am inside.

I was a woman when I had a beard like Captain Haddock. I was a woman when I laughed the deepest manliest laugh you can imagine. I don't need to change to be a woman. I don't need surgery to be a woman.

I AM ALREADY A WOMAN."

It like everyone who knew me as a guy just has to bring up the fact that I pretty much look the same as I did before.  Just with better complexion, no facial hair, longer hair, and boobs.  What what the heck would the female version of me look like????

Okay there is my rant.  Anyone else with similar feelings??

Meh.  Those people are just jealous that their lives are dull and boring and yours is full of adventure and challenge.

Pity them.

UGH!!

I HATE the term ->-bleeped-<-. It should be stricken from the English language.

Other people think about similar things. It is absolutely annoying. I don't know about anyone else, but NOTHING about wearing women's clothes turns me on.

Yeah I know! Its not just the clothes folks.  We are not trying to get a hard on.  We are female on the inside.  What else would we wear??  A toga??

I think it is worth nothing that the female version of someone isn't all that different than the male version lol. I recently posted a picture of my mother on my blog here at susans (entry 133), and sure I am starting to look like her. I am not starting to look like Kim Kardashian, I am not starting to look like someone else. I am only looking like me, with slightly more femme features.

I AM ALREADY A WOMAN.
Exactly this. Now that I've accepted it, I won't let anyone tell me otherwise. It's who I am inside and that's all that matters. Now if only it was easier to convince others, I wouldn't be looking forward to as much of a struggle.

I dunno, Lara... I saw your before picture. I couldn't believe it was the same person. I kind of think anyone who doesn't see all woman when they look at you needs to have their eyes checked.

*hugs*

No Lara, You're wrong. You shouldn't have used the word "Friggin". ;D But this is a family friendly forum after all though so... the other one is off limits. But as for people I couldn't agree more.

I know that I'm not. Kind of difficult without the twins and with the E.

Hard-ons and PIV sex... Umm, won't miss those one bit.  Sex "got weird" a long time ago and I hate hard-ons.

That seems to be the fundamental misconception. You can disagree with someone's lifestyle (for example, not liking that they are a bigot). You cannot disagree with their identity. It makes me want to turn to them and say "well it would be really convenient for me if you could stop being {insert their cis-gender here}, tell you what, you do that, and I'll stop being a woman". -_-

I could tell she was using the term out of complete ignorance, but it was still one thousand eyerolls worthy. If she would just start thinking of me as a woman, and not as a man who wants to dress up as a girl she might not suffer from foot in mouth disease so often.

My "lifesyle"?  Seriously?

Avoiding an early grave is some "lifestyle".  I feel like such an icky pervert now that I am remaining on this side of the turf.

I think for that I would need duct tape applied gently to their faces.

I dunno.  I don't want to hurt them.  I just don't want their mouths to open anymore.  Although taking it off would be a different story. lol

Superglue works better and a little more permanant. And getting their mouths back open would be a helluva lot more painful than ripping duct tape off. ;)

I got some epoxy I use sometimes for my work in boat & outboard motor repair that will permanently keep anything you wanna keep shut, lol!! It dries in 5 minutes too! Will this work?

Seriously Laura the level of ignorance in some people never ceases to amaze me.
