Title: Marriage
Post by: Autumn Faith on July 16, 2014, 02:03:48 PM
If a man marry a woman. Then 10 yrs later he becomes a woman. Is the marriage legal? If not then what happens?  USA law prohibits same sex marriage right?

It's state by state. In my state same sex marriage is legal. My marriage may not survive transition but if it doesn't it won't be because the law dissolves it.

Yes, marriage is at the time of the act.

USA laws are changing daily. US constitution says same sex marriages is legal.

Transitioning does not dissolve a marriage. In my case, I wish it did.

I think my spouse likes me better now.  I was a real jerk before, now we get along.  She's my buddy.  She sees me for who I am, and gets that I am still me.  Better, she seems to get that I've always been this.
