I just got in from listening to Mara Keisling the Executive Director for the National Center for Transgender Equality. U.S. citizens can breathe a sigh of relief because we have the right person for the job in Ms. Keisling. We were updated on various legal and insurance issue's concerning transgender people. Ms. Keisling is very knowledgeable and personable and has really good sound strategies for helping move legislation through. Attendance was around 90 attendee's and family members, attorney's and corporate leaders all finding out how best to help us and understand us better. I feel like we are only going to get stronger as a political force and our lives enriched. It is a very exciting time for us! :)
