Title: Is it normal to get erections?
Post by: Felishia on July 28, 2014, 12:48:12 PM
Still having erections after 1 year 2 months of HRT; I thought that I'd lose them, but I don't know why I still have them and I'm very short of money, so I'd rather ask here first to see if it's necessary to see the doc.

However I'm not getting morning ones neither sudden erections; but sometimes I just get hot, and that seems to happen everyday, the hotness annoys me (without erections) just the feeling invades me, and I do what any other teen would do... And I get erections when I do it, last a while, 10-20 minutes unless I'm ovely hot, but it happens anyway.

So is it ok?

Hello Felishia,

In answer to your question. Yes it is OK. Nothing to worry about. Next time you see your Endo or health professional, mention it to them. HT affects some people differently. You're no exception.

In fact, if your journey includes surgery at a later date, keeping these synapses active will ensure you are sensate post op.

Enjoy and embrace the journey
