I'm looking for something without shoulder straps.

I had two of these and they were really uncomfortable and not secure.

Might be okay for a few hour binding like cosplay??
Looks kind of uncomfortable to me.

I was looking into these because I have a couple of shorts that are pretty wide in the neck and if I am wearing a binder with shoulder straps the shoulder straps can be seen which is obviously not a desired effect. I couldn't find any other binders on the internet that do not have shoulder straps.

One of the first binders I tried was strapless, and it was one of the most unpleasant experiences of my life. It fell down within minutes (and I'm a big chested guy), dug into my ribs something awful, and overall wasn't much better than ace bandages in terms of how well it actually bound me. I do not recommend these or anything like them.

Small to medium chested guy here. I tried these and I am wary with using them, and I don't use them on a regular basis as they're extremely uncomfortable. I liked the fact that they were strapless, but that's pretty useless pretty quick due to the fact that I had to adjust every 3 minutes and pull it up, and if I did that in public it could have aroused suspicion. They weren't comfortable anyways and did not that great binding.. would not recommend.

All right, that's unfortunate. You'd think that there would be demand and interest in strapless binders for obvious reasons. If you can design strapless bras it must be possible to design strapless binders.

I hope that they find a way to invent more comfortable strapless binders in the future.. I'd so buy one. I really tried binding with these, but it was nearly impossible.. There's enough discomfort experienced with a regular ole binder but it's like ten times worse with strapless ones. I definitely recommend the ones with straps from that company, though.

I believe it would be harder to make them fit nicely though. You have weight that you need to distribute and putting some of it on the shoulders. Without shoulders you are left with very few support points. I suppose they'd work for smallish guys but the smaller the less you need this anyway.

Though if you are very big the same could be true as well since if you are very big chance are you are also quite overweight so there isn't much shape to speak of since at some point you stop seeing any differences when people reach a certain weight.

And by this I don't mean any offense to overweight people. Just saying that it's more difficult to discern those things if you are really overweight for the same reason it is if you are very small.

I bought the one from the 2nd link and they were useless for me. Maybe if I had a figure similar to the model wearing it...

I have one but it's not as comfortable as the ones with straps. I've got a similar build to the model too.
One of those on ebay with straps has quite a deep neckline so I've been able to wear that without the straps showing. Think it was this one: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/190882726368?var=490173958250&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

I have something similar. How are the straps on the sides if the neck is really broad?

TranzWear sells strapless binders. I can't tell you if they are good or not because I never tried them.
