Title: A Theory For The Reeb
Post by: Pica Pica on July 31, 2007, 05:20:48 AM
I got one to leave with you R,

Maybe all androgynes are really men...even the female born ones. They are such manly, masculine, mannish men that they can't even commit long term to a gender identity.

Ya might have a point there, Pica

I mean, it takes a REAL man to shave their legs, paint their nails and wear a dress to the local discount store.  But, like a true manly man, they can't commit to that and keep on wearing that old ratty T-shirt with the holes in it around the house.

And breaking a nail while changing the fan belt on your car is a real bummer.

I get it now.

We're too manly to make a commitment to gender.  Sometimes, I need a nap.

Yeah. I'm too manly for my manhood.

Not to mention the way your lipstick smears when you open a beer bottle with your teeth. Now that's gross.

Y'know, it's interesting, but when your ordinary average cisgendered heterosexual guy's dog dies, he cries. When a big tough macho biker guy's dog dies, he bawls like a little girl and might run away. Does this phenomenon show how macho has come out the other side of gender and is wearing a pink frilly dress where doggy mortality is concerned? Is macho approaching androgyny from the other side?
