This was a well written explanation of the way things are for trans* folk. Sadly, going up against someone with a closed mind this is not going to cut it. I have been there, done that, and am still looking for a way forward. As soon as I admit it came from Huffington Post Gay Voices I can hear the other's mind click shut.

Thank you very muchly for the link, Stephanie. It's greatly appreciated. Having read quite a few of the studies relevant to the piece, I do quibble with the scientific validity of statements for one of the areas a tiny bit but that's just my personal layperson view. Beyond that small issue, it is an astoundingly succinct yet detailed exploration and rebuttal of baseless arguments. I highly value it, especially given my view of Huffpost coverage of T issues hasn't been too high in the past.
