I mean at first guys never ever talk to me, then a  cute guy talks to me , even if it was just two sentences, it counted! Lol. He would have talked more I'm sure but I didn't talk to him back.

Then there was the drunk dude that was saying I'm so pretty and all that and today a man asked me for my number. What's going on? Did I drink an attraction potion or something?

Hormones surely didn't work in a day. You're probably showing more confidence and most people are afraid to approach others they find cute. So that guy wasn't shy to show it, and the other was uninhibited because he was drunk. :P When people are drunk they are way more expressive and honest.

I'm into the gender role for sure, but that doesn't mean I have confidence just like cis women don't always have it either . But I get what you're saying

Guys stare at me, I dunno if it is positive or negative, but it creeps me out. I don't like guys romantically at all. At least you know if people are asking for your number, they are into you, it certainly beats just getting stared at.

The guy who asked my number did kind of creep me out, I gave it to him even though I didn't want to. Then he asked in what area I live and if I would be interested in being his girlfriend, then I just said I don't want a boyfriend but thank you.

I really don't think they are suddenly noticing you but rather you are noitcing them noticing you. One little word or advice though, if you don't want to give out your number, don't. I have no idea how old you are but once people are over the age of 12 guys just don't boldly up and say, will you be my girlfriend? Find the number to the local gas station and remember it by hear and if guys ask for your number and you don't feel right about it or pick up some bad vibes, give them the number to the gas station.

Lol thanks Jess :D I didn't think of that. Yeah it was weird that he said that but I tried to act all normal about it like I didn't think it was weird. I don't know why I gave it to him and why didn't say no. It's probably because I'm not used to things like this happening

Yeah that with guys asking you right off the bat to be their girlfriend once you get out of elementary school is kind of creepy, or it is to me anyway. Wine me, dine me, take me out on a couple of dates and then we'll see if we hit it off.

Any guys staring at you are just checking you out, young or old.

It's still difficult though, cis girls never have to worry if a man is staring at them because they might look like a guy.

But yeah, I wanted to get noticed by guys and now that it's actually happening I realise I don't know how to deal with it.

I agree with Leila Melanie. Get use to the looks. Yeah it's difficult but do you know how many cisgirls are totally selfconscious? We maybe selfconscious about being closcked but there are plenty of things that make cisgirls selfconscious and I don't think ther's anything they ore we can do about it but just live with it.

I do get my fair share of looks and I get hit on here and there....its just not as blatant since I am a bit older and I think they feel they may get somewhere if they respect me better.

I have had some guys just plain come out and say why the hell is someone like you married (I'm not!) I've actually had that mentioned quite often just not as blatant as some will do. I've had it happen so often I blurted out to one guy that I wasn't! I thought what did I just say!! I don't get it, I wear one ring on my left hand and its not on my ring finger, I don't know if there saying something to find out for sure, or if they really don't know what finger a wedding ring is worn on.

At first I did find it a bit strange and uncomfortable. For one I didn't think I was any thing to look at, and also I was nowhere attracted to men. Things have now took a 180!! I am now very attracted to men, and at least feel I am as attractive as the average woman. It seems though the ones I would like to flirt with me don't and the ones that do,I don't want them too. I don't get too excited over many men....but today a guy came into work and I acted like such a teenager when trying to help him. He had all the qualities I look for in a man! Ugh! I'm getting sick now just thinking of him....I'm hoping he comes in soon....I'm not going to hold back next time.

Melanie, you are very attractive! :) You may not see it, this can be common for attractive women that that are not full of their selves. Unfortunately sometimes woman like you or maybe even myself (though I'm not as attractive as you, just ordinary) can give the same type of impression because we don't believe what we are being told, and display an attitude that may come across as arrogant. If they only knew!! It's kind of like the old song by Jackson Browne (ya it ages me!!) called "Somebody's Baby" its about the pretty girl that never gets asked out because she is beautiful and gives the impression that she is taken....not in an arrogant way but in a shy way!

I can totally relate! I just finished my 3rd month on hrt, I'm only 26 and up until last week, I was like "I feel like I present well and am pretty, but why is no one making moves?" Literally last week i was approached by 3 diff guys - one of which i completely misjudged.. sadly, all they wanted was play time, and it don't work that way! But it definitely went from no one to suddenly like whoa.. Besides, you are definitely cute and all, so just take it in and enjoy, maybe flirt back a little!!

I second this^^___^^. Melanie you have that fresh, pretty girl next door look a lot of guys go for. So get used to it girl, your very attractive and guys are going to hit on you whether your into them or not (something I'm finding out the hard way, lol!). I'm not very attractive, but even at my age I still get more than my fair share of attention I don't want from guys even half my age, including my new next door neighbor who can't take "no" for an answer -he's asked me out twice! But like Hikari I'm only into girls.

Anyhoo, it's part of being a woman so especially with your looks it's going to happen. However I must warn you as others have; it's not wise to give out your phone number to any guy who ask's you to be his girlfriend without at least getting to know you first. That was very immature of this person who just may be mentally unstable. I know it sounds like we're a bunch of mother hens but we only warn you because we care. I like the Domino's Pizza suggestion. Keep that on hand to give to those who creep you out so as not to escalate their instability in your presence.
