Hello everyone, found this website finally. I'm 39 and started on meds in April, however my therapist and I parted ways due to a number of exceedingly inflammatory remarks made to me. I was also refused access to the support group. Went back to my old therapist, who is just a normal therapist, but she can't really speak to this. This left me with nothing, no therapist, no friends and no support group. I was quite certain of my decision until all of this, is there anyone willing to message me privately? I would really like to know if the comments made to me hold any water or not, and would like to ask someone's opinion of them, but it's probably best not to post them here. Thank you all for any help you can offer.

Thank you for the greeting. After browsing the forums I can already see some of the things that were said to me were misleading at best, and downright falsehoods at worst. Perhaps I will just find my support online for now :)

It will take you 15 posts before most things are unlocked in your profile and that includes private PM.
So until then you could just put a little out here and there.
Finding a therapist that care is hard, Finding one who helps is even harder.
Hang in and just look around and maybe you will find the help needed.
