Title: Personality Shift?

Maybe it is the hormones, the reduction of T: maybe it is a lot of the stress being lifted because I have started HRT, maybe it is a mid-life crisis, but...the last month, since I started the HRT, I seem to be becoming a completely different person. I used to worry about things, get angry about the little stuff, was really bitter towards things in my past and all that wonderful crap but not even a week or two into the HRT, I started to calm down. A lot.
The endocrinologist said I had an excess of free T floating about that my body refused to absorb, and getting it down was a good idea. High T can mean anger issues, right? I have been lead to believe.
Anyways, it seems as if I am viewing the world through different eyes these days. I don't know what this means for me long-term, but at this point, I'm not stressing it. I'm not becoming anyone else or someone new, but rather, it feels as it is a shift back to my "original" personality.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who has experienced this. I have a scientific mind of sorts...psychology was my major in college...and wonder does this "kind of thing" happen often as a result of the HRT? Go ahead and share your experience if you like: I'm curious.

Testosterone can certainly make people a bit more driven, even aggressive. Even though I had low-mid range T to begin with I still mellowed out once I was on HRT.

I believe it can... I was very agro and stressed most of my life, and used to constantly worry about stupid things.
Well, after starting HRT, I am not like that at all anymore.
Personality changes? Probably yes, but I think others (not yourself) might notice them first.
There are many things that seem to have changed mentally, for me, so far. And that is after less that 6mths HRT.
