Open Letter To Susan's Place

   First to Susan, thank you for creating a safe community of support and comfort.
You played an important part in the first years of Nero's transition. Thank you
for believing in him enough to see past his mistakes. You trusted him, saw his
talent and allowed him to rise to a position of prominence. He did not take this
role lightly. He strived to maintain within Susan's Place a mission of integrity
and nonjudgement.
   To those of you who loved him, you know who you are, believe me, he loved
you too. I understand you are grieving, as am I. Many of you spent countless
hours talking with him. He needed you and you were there. You have my
deepest gratitude.
   Thanks to those of you who reached out to me personally. Your words of love for
him and support for me, got me through some of the darkest hours of unbearable
sorrow.
   To everyone at Susan's Place, Nero cared and supported you with his beautiful
heart. I know many of your names and struggles, because he asked me to pray for
you. I feel that I understand a little about the pain you face just trying to be who
you really are. I continue to pray for you and hope my support means something
in some small way.
  I can find no words to describe the loss of my son. My only solace is in
knowing that he is free, and I do feel him with me at times.

I love you all, because he did.

As we all wish we could have done more in his life.

He has done so much for ours.

Tell his mom we where blessed to have him in our lives along with her as one of the family.

My god. I thought I was through with the tears over Nero's passage. I really don't think so though. :'( I think If I could trade places I would in a heart beat. He sure could add way more to helping the trans gendered that come here seeking help than I ever could.

Cindy please tell Nero's mom we lover her just as much as her son. And to come on and stay on here. I don't even know her user name here. But I for one do love her for raising one of the best men that I ever knew. When are we gonna stop losing friends?

Tell her not to be a stranger and she is just as much a part of our little family, as much as Nero was. She maybe able to help someone ar give them hop and so on. My heart truly goes out to her. :'(

A truly amazing woman, like her son. My thoughts are with her during this dark time.

I miss him so much.  I miss his posts and the threads he would start.  I miss how he could make me think.  I miss talking to him. 

I do believe he helped make me a better, happier, more compassionate person.  I just wish I could have done more for him.

I miss you, Nero, my friend, my brother. 

Excuse me, I have some more crying to do.

I loved how he called me Hun any time I communicated with him. He sent me an e-mail with the resources for doing the news job with his avatar attached, I use it to guide me in reporting. I am so truly sad I really wanted to be his friend I'll miss you. Love Stephanie Crook

Nero was a good guy, we had a nice chat on the phone about three weeks before he passed. He was a giver and not a taker and we all loved him dearly.

Like others I'm shedding tears again too.  So many of us die....  Nero was a friend, he cannot be replaced, but he can be honored.
