Hey guys. So 7 months ago or so I started taking a psychiatric medication. I have been trying to find a psychiatrist to go to but I haven't been able to find anyone and my dr refuses to touch my meds. I really couldn't stand the side effects from it anymore an it wasn't doing anything much for me. So I've come off it on my own. I know the endocrinologist needs to know the meds I'm on but if I tell him this will he possibly not put me on t? I'm just worried he won't trust me since I didn't go off on drs orders...

It's possible, depending on what it was for. My partner has bipolar disorder, and in his case, he wouldn't have been allowed to start testosterone if he weren't stable and hadn't been medicated for awhile. Not taking his medication would have been a red flag of being unstable as well. On the other hand, if you have mental health issues that wouldn't cause you to become unstable if you're unmedicated, I don't think that's going to be much of an issue.

Yeah hard to predict on that. your endo may want to wait until you find a psych. it just really depends.
