Title: A feeling as if you're about to cry that doesn't go away?

I'm a low-doser, one month so far, and I've been having this feeling for the past five days that if I see or hear anything sappy or sad, I'll burst into tears. It's like a slight tightness in my chest - I can feel it - and it's the feeling that it wouldn't take much to set me off. It feels like a good cry would make it go away.
Hormones kicking in finally?

Yup, I got that on low dose. It's as though you've becomeartially emotional again.
Higher dosages may make you weepy.

That started early on for me too. I'm almost 8 1/2 months on HRT and yep every morning I'm on the verge of crying from the slightest emotional thing happening until around 9 am. I don't mind it much, that's the territory that we are in as women.

First time I was on HRT that was me pretty much all the time. This time, not at all(except when something's really obviously sad). Maybe I'm just more cynical these days... :-\

Dangggg I'm not even on HRT and I feel like that. I just figured I was in touch with my female side too much and reading too much Susan's. Lol... it sure forces you to deal alot more with your female side.

Glad to hear that it's not just me. If I'm on the brink of tears on low dose, it'll be like Niagara Falls when it gets turned up to eleven.

Me too.
I've always cried for everything, ever since I was little. I am a very emotional person.
Two job losses, I cried and cried hard. I couldn't "man up" to save my life.
