Hi...
I don't mean to sound ignorant, but will someone tell me what "Triggers" are within the trans context.?
For example, I understand the Triggers to self injury, ie cuts, scars, blood etc..
I've noticed several topics with "trigger warning" in the title, but I don't see what the triggers are.??
Thank you for any info.??

Within trans contexts triggers could mean talking about body parts that some trans people don't have but wish to, proper medical terminology or those body parts, negative family/friends reactions to coming out which could include violence, and suicude.

Triggers as on the dysphoria pain.
Could even be part of a ptsd.
Could be a addition.
We in the community try and give readers a heads up of possible triggers.
Hard to cover everything but the major one are tried to get covered.
Does that help
